Cyclades

Cyclades (Greek: Κυκλάδες) is a complex of 24 inhabited islands in the center of the Aegean Sea. The name comes from the word circle, because Cyclades form a circle surrounding the famous sacred island and a place of worship and the birth of Apollo and Artemis, Delos.

Cyclades Islands: Amorgos, Anafi, Andros, Antiparos, Delos, Donusa, Folegandros, Thirassia, Ios, Kea (Kea), Kimolos, Koufonisia, Kythnos, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Santorini (Thera), Serifos, Sikinos Sifnos, Syros, Schoinoussa, Tinos, Folegandros. There are many more small uninhabited islands between them.
